ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary functional duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include:

  • Answer a multi-line-phone system and direct calls
  • Project coordination and completion
  • Maintain Filing & Compliance
  • Follow an organized filing/management process for electronic and paper documents
  • Develop and edit business documents from information provided with minimal guidance
  • Add value through understanding the work processes, resources, structure, and business of the firm
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of appropriate practice/industry groups and client/project history
  • Availability to occasionally work late hours to meet strict deadlines

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Minimum one year's experience in administrative positions for professional offices
  • Loyalty, Teamwork, Innovation and Compassionate communication
  • Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook) & Gmail
  • Skill in working in an office supporting several staff members
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to navigate Internet and to use technical equipment
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to solve multidimensional problems and meet a wide variety of challenges
  • Time Management
  • Flexibility to rapidly change priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Reading comprehension with ability to communicate research topics
  • Knowledge of medical billing is a plus
