The Investment Advisory Guided Solutions Program Management team at Edward Jones, which is part of the Wealth Management Advice and Solutions division, is responsible for developing and managing world-class investment management offerings that integrate firm advice and help drive an ideal client experience. We seek to provide our clients with personalized investment solutions to address their financial needs and consider their unique preferences.
The Wealth Management Advice and Solutions division helps ensure that branch teams and our clients have a consistent supply of high-quality retirement, banking, insurance, mutual fund, and education savings products aligned with the firm's investment philosophy and solutions-based advice and guidance. In addition, the group drives innovation that will enhance products, services, processes and systems to meet our current and future client needs. These areas play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's goals of deeply serving clients and associates serve as the firm's subject matter experts for their respective areas.
Role Overview:
As an Associate Product Manager, you will assist in orchestrating the product management and development activities for the firms managed account offerings across the organization. You'll have an opportunity to build and maintain a strong network of business partners, and partner with them on challenges, opportunities and solutions. You’ll participate on cross-functional teams of colleagues from Compliance, Legal, Field Supervision, Advice & Guidance, Operations, Marketing, and Digital Product Teams. Your responsibilities will include helping to build and execute plans to deliver on annual and longer term enhancements; all while managing the day-to-day needs of the business.
Day-to-day responsibilities of an Associate Product Manager include, but are not limited to:

Working with senior associates and leaders on building a compelling story from data and other sources.

Managing the execution and analysis of certain oversight functions.

Lead enhancement efforts that improve the client experience.

Gather data and insights and conduct analysis of moderate complexity that inform product strategy and development.

Resolve moderately complex / broad advisory product issues as escalated.

Interface with advisory product peer contacts (Eg. Product managers in the industry)

Serve as a subject matter expert for Investment Advisory programs for the firm. Includes foundational knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace. For Investment Advisory products, this includes: model portfolios, SMAs, Bridgebuilder Funds, client/FA/firm discretionary programs.

Support broad division, firm or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the Investment Advisory product line in alignment with firm strategy (Eg. cross divisional-projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc.)

Bachelor's degree required with preferred discipline (e.g., business, finance, economics, accounting, math, etc.)

5+ years of financial services, product management, or strategic planning/consulting experience preferred.

Series 7 and Series 66 required within 12 months of hire

Progress toward advanced degree or relevant industry designation(s) preferred (ChFC, CIMA, CFP, MBA, CFA, CPA, etc)
