At Edward Jones, the Digital Practice Management Portfolio works to provide our branch teams with the tools they need to effectively run their business. As key members of the Product, Digital Product Owners combine subject matter expertise, vision, strategy, systems thinking, and product management capabilities to produce highly integrated and effective digital solutions and tools.
As a part of this portfolio, the Practice Management - Core Data Management Team is growing to better support the needs of our Financial Advisors as they optimize their practice. Here, you operate at the intersection of human capital and the digital branch experience, connecting our evolving branch models to the digital experiences our branch teams need and expect.

What You'll Do…

• The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one or more systems, leading a multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional product team to deliver value to internal and external customers of the Firm.
• Responsible to the Senior Product Owner, this individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of their product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future.
• This work includes management of system plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource needs, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value.
• This individual will help establish and maintain area goals and measures to ensure accountability for results.
• Lead and assist others in the management of business, system and regulatory risks to ensure we are prepared for the future.
• Drive organizational technology innovation through a deep understanding of the branch operating model and seeking opportunities to deliver choice and flexibility through the technologies we support.
• The Digital Product Owner will work with other firm leaders to attract, develop and drive a team of high-performing associates, and will play a pivotal role in their ongoing personal and professional development.
• This person will be the leader of their matrixed product team, delivering the product's vision through influence, coaching and mentoring.
• This individual will additionally advise and align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the product strategy.

What You'll Need…

• Bachelor's degree required
• MBA or graduate degree preferred
• 5+ years of related business experience with increasingly responsible positions. Experience must include leading teams, planning, setting strategy and direction, and leading "enterprise-wide" efforts.
• 3+ years of project or product management experience

What Could Set you Apart:

• Ability to empathize with users and interpret research and analytics to make recommendations to improve user experience
• Ability to interpret business strategy into actionable deliverables on the product roadmap
• A robust understanding of full-cycle software development within an Agile framework.
• Project management certification (PMP) or Agile Certification
