Title: Executive Assistant and Marketing - Vice President.

Ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, dutiful and loyal. Will have a strong desire and your mentality is to help the Owner/Founder/CEO in working towards the Company's goals.

OPPORTUNITY
Working directly with the Owner/Founder/CEO of multiple ventures in the following categories:
- Consumer Products - Apparel, Gifts, Art, Travel Experiences
- Marketing and Digital Media initiatives
- Media - Film, Digital, Publishing (Books)

PROFESSIONAL PERSONALITY

Be courteous, professional, and friendly as appropriate in all interpersonal interactions including the use of tact and diplomacy when dealing with the Owner/Founder/CEO and all others that interface professionally and personally

  • Maintain the confidentiality of financial information, phone calls, email and other correspondence, and show excellent professional judgment
  • Must have and use excellent organizational skills and effective communication skills in the office and the Owner/Founder/CEO’s personal affairs
  • Anticipate needs, take initiative, and be his “Go To” person.
  • Self-motivated and flexible

SKILLS:

Proficient in: Excel, Word Processing, the use of PC/Mac, All Windows programs and Outlook. Many online programs, including social and digital media platforms, as well as, willingness to learn and manage these platforms.

Personal Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist Owner with all matters relating to personal finance, management of properties, personal property, family matters and all business ventures, including ongoing and new business opportunities.

Understanding of Bookkeeping/Accounting Responsibilities.

  • Process event registration and commission payments. Submit monthly sales and use tax, and other states when appropriate. Process and pay regular company and personal expenses. Keep all records current
  • Ability to forecast expenses, projections and future revenue

Inventory Control: Ensure inventories that are counted on regular basis are adjusted accordingly with correct goods costing

Administrative Responsibilities: General administrative tasks are required. Such as filing, cleaning, note taking, dictation, reporting

Additional Responsibilities: Work with Founder and Founder’s companies to assist in managing the finances and overall service of those companies. Working with the employees of the founder’s other companies daily.

  • Cross Training/Backup for other employees within the Founder’s Organizations
  • Responsible for delivering packages to shipping locations. Answering phones, organizing the office, and keeping track of company personnel
  • Must be able to work in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must have excellent written, oral and customer service skills
  • Experience with social and digital media platforms
  • Preferably Shopify, Stripe, Squarespace, WordPress, Etc.

Compensation: Base salary: $25.00 Range - $40.00 Range (based on experience)

  • Potential for Bonuses
  • Opportunity for equity ownership in several of the Founder’s ventures*

**Some working knowledge of QuickBooks for Business, previous administrative experience - REQUIRED.
