There are currently two locations that we are hiring for in the San Juan Islands. These positions will likely require relocation to one of the islands. With the ferry schedules, commuting will be extremely difficult to maintain full time hours. We are committed to your long term success, and as such are offering a relocation/retention bonus.

The San Juan Islands are a group of 172 named islands and reefs located in San Juan County. Three ferry served Islands, San Juan Island(with the county seat Friday Harbor), Orcas Island, and Lopez Islandare the most populous and host the vast majority of lodging and dining options and tourism activities. The islands capture the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with the peacefulness of a small town. The waters surrounding the islands are truly a wonder. On any given day you could see a resident Orca whale or enjoy Dungeness crab or prawns wild-caught that very morning.

The current job openings are on two of these ferry served islands: San Juan Island, Lopez Island. Friday Harbor Drug is located on San Juan Island in the town of Friday Harbor. Friday Harbor has a movie theater numerous restaurants, hotels, bars, and even a brewery. There's no shortage of chances to interact with the great outdoors. Take a whale tour, enjoy a hike on the miles and miles of trails, or venture out on a night kayak tour into the bioluminescentplankton. Make it your own personal adventure.

Lopez Island Pharmacy is located on Lopez Island. Lopez is perfect for those looking to disconnect from the distractions of urban living. You won't find stoplights, a movie theater or a shopping mall but you will find plenty of opportunities for beach walking, cycling, and kayaking. It's the type of place where everyone knows your name and you get to build deep connections with your patients and your community.

Both locations are independent pharmacies that strives to go the extra mile for our patients. We often know our patients on a first name basis and have established strong personal connections. There wouldn’t be a pharmacy without the support of the community and in turn we like to give back to the community.

Services we currently offer include traditional prescription services, immunizations, MTM's, medication synchronization, and limited compounding. We also have a large front end that has a wide variety of products and OTC supplements.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who are friendly, energetic, hard working, detail-oriented, and want to work in a patient centered pharmacy. We hope to expand the services we offer over the next few years to include point of care testing and additional clinical services (diabetes management/training, smoking cessation, etc). The candidate we hire will be crucial to helping us grow these services and ensuring their sustainability.

Initially there would be a phone interview with the hiring manager. All candidates selected to progress would be offered a zoom interview with the owners and hiring manager. If you're selected to continue, we would offer a two to three day working interview.
