The Physical Therapist is primarily responsible for the delivery of physical therapy care to the patient population to which she/he is assigned and the recording of that care in the hospital medical record. The therapist acts as a consultant to various patient populations.

The Physical Therapist Clinician provides instruction to OT/PT support staff, PT students, personnel of other disciplines within VCUHS, and patient and/or family members. Therapists may rotate through our various clinical service areas: Mecklenburg, Lunenburg, and Brunswick County.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Licensed (or licensure eligible) by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist Licensure

Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Physical Therapist

Education/training REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy

Education/training PREFERRED: Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited School of Physical Therapy

CMH provides company car, laptop, and cell phone. Must have valid drivers license and good driving record. Position covers a 3 county radius around Mecklenburg County, VA.
