The primary responsibility of the Front Office Assistant is to perform general office activities that provide clerical support.
Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Two years of medical facility or medical business office experience required
• Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• *Essential Functions

• Responsible for daily cash management procedures
• Compiles PO receipts and invoices for corporate accounting
• Collects, sort, distribute and prepare mail, messages and courier deliveries
• Provides pertinent information to the patient’s family in the waiting area according to policies and procedures
• Coordinates reception area activities for effective communication with all areas of the facility
• Establishes proper payment arrangements according to facilities policy and procedures
• Communicates insurance benefits and financial responsibility with patients prior to surgery
• Assist other staff as needed
