Candidate will be performing software development duties on the MyHealth patient portal for Stanford Health Care. Skills and studies of software development in one of the following is required:

This internship will provide hands-on exposure to the following responsibilities: Major version server migrations; Overseeing security patchings and post-patch validation; Site development & enhancements in SharePoint Online; Application development in Power Apps and Power BI; Generating reports on analytics & site health; Refactoring automation workflows to adhere to changing business requirements in identity management.
Enable AB Test Dashboards in search engine with different pipelines to test and measure the impact of various different search pipeline configurations with key KPI’s.

Solution Architect
Join a team of smart, hard-working Solution Architect professionals dedicated to making a difference at Stanford Health Care. We collaborate on new and changing solutions with business and technology partners beginning with problem ideation culminating in architecture views. We also present solution architecture documentation to an Architecture Review Board for solution approval. This cross-functional role can be the launch pad of your career. Learn Solution and Enterprise Architecture methodologies and tools to provide visualization of architecture views. Knowledge of modeling languages preferred, e.g., ArchiMate, BPMN, but not required and can be learned on the job. Pair up with team members to develop intake documentation, document patterns, and model architecture. Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, e.g., network, virtual servers, databases, is a plus.

Customer Experience and Support – (In Person)
The intern will work closely with the Identity and Access Management, Service Desk, Field Services, Audio Visual, Clinical Communications, IT Asset Management, and Telecom teams at SHC, UHA, SHC - ValleyCare, and School of Medicine. The intern will be working on a project to help refine and improve the Clinical Customer Experience. Activities include but are not limited to:
Biomedical Engineer – (In Person)
IT Clinical Applications – Population Health and Inpatient Systems
Intern will be participating in key Population Health initiatives like Workforce Health and Wellness, Healthy Planet Dashboards and metrics, and Compass Rose. Looking for candidates who are able to schedule meetings, coordinate large groups of meeting membership, take meeting minutes, organize go-live logistics.
Intern will be involved in maintenance and support activities with regards to Health Information Exchange and Clinical applications. This will entail facilitating meetings with providers, clinic staff, other TDS teams, troubleshooting issues, and data validation, with guidance from team members.
Support clinical application projects in flight, provide technical documentation review & optimization, and lead ad hoc process improvement projects. Provide technical and data analysis input. Understanding of Office 365, Solutions Architecture & software development life cycle preferred.
IT Ambulatory
Assist with setting up SNOW Task Dashboards for Enhancement Sprint, Clinic Implementation, etc.)
Assist with knowledge article creation for internal processes and update existing articles.
Process improvement opportunities to Team website, Test script updates, etc.
IT UHA
Intern will be assigned to the IT Clinicals Applications and Network of Care Operations Portfolio of Work, inclusive of but not limited to, documenting clinical and revenue cycle workflows across portfolios, updating the Network of Care Playbook, coming up with standard projects plans for implementations (depending on complexity), dashboard for cross portfolio budget management.
Technology and Digital Solutions Project Management
This role will assist senior project and program managers in executing, monitoring, and closing projects. The individual will assist with project scoping, developing schedules, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project successful project execution. They will also identify areas for process improvement and work with stakeholders to implement solutions.
Technology and Digital Solutions Analytics
You will be joining the Technology and Digital Services Analytics (TDSA) team that serves the reporting and analytics needs of Stanford Health Care. This position will focus primarily on management and optimization of reporting from our Electronic Medical Record system, Epic, using a number of tools including:
