Principal Purpose of Job

This position will be responsible for all aspects of daily accounts payables and receivables to validate accurate billing and timely payments. This position will also be responsible for reviewing and analyzing standard financial reports, as well as developing custom financial reports and audits. This position requires a high level of attention to detail as well as planning and scheduling capability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send customer invoices daily
• Communicate with customer(s) regarding regular on time collections
• Validate and enter vendor invoices daily
• Communicate with vendor(s) when necessary for accounting discrepancies, etc.
• Prepare weekly AR/AP audit reports and communicate with management and sales as needed
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Prepare various analytical reports, as needed
• Ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Prepare and assist with audits
• Additional duties as assigned by management
• Occasional Duties and Responsibilities
• Function as backup to other departmental areas when required (i.e. assist in covering periods of departmental vacation or absence).

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in business or related field, CPA preferred
• Proficiency of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ERP/MRP
• Extensive experience with accounting software
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and in multiple areas
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Effective project management skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to occasionally lift components weighing up to 20 pounds
• Ability to withstand environmental temperatures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
