Job Summary
The communications specialist develops and executes strategic internal and external communication, media relations and growth plans that educate, motivate, and engage key audiences as needed. The specialist will collaborate with a manager at OhioHealth Marketing & Communications (GHS is managed by OhioHealth) to create integrated strategic marketing communications plans with measures and ensures involvement and collaboration with business partners. The manager will serve as the liaison with various system, care site and business unit leaders. The manager will work with the specialist to complete projects and strategic goals set forth by the care site and business unit leaders. The specialist will participate as an active member of integrated teams throughout the organization when necessary.
