Full-time: 32-40 hours per week. This is DAY SHIFT typically 7:45-5 PM 4 days per week. These times may vary depending on need.

• Discretion, above average verbal and written communication skills
• Dermatology experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. Certification is also preferred, but not necessary.
• Being highly organized with attention to detail is crucial.
• Computer skills and an excellent telephone manner are also required.
• Willingness to learn things quickly

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms
• Scribe/charting during patient physical examinations
• Serve as a chaperone during examinations
• Set up rooms: cryotherapy, lidocaine syringes. electrocautery, stocking of exam rooms
• Cleaning of rooms/room turnover between patients
• Administering subcutaneous anesthetic for patients prior to procedures
• Assisting with procedures including shave biopsies. punch biopsies and excisions.
• Complete tasks sent from providers via EHR
• Sending prescriptions authorized by providers
• update EHR
• Packaging instruments, cleaning and sanitizing the autoclave
• Provide wound care services for patients, including suture removal
• Record patient vital signs
• Lead patient education
• Return patient phone calls
• Verify patient appointment
