About the Role

We have a permanent Full-Time opportunity for a Document Control Specialist to join the Green Boy team based in Los Angeles.

The Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting the regulatory requirements of the company and documentation controls. This team member will be working closely with our Quality Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of food related experience
  • Experience with communicating with customers
  • Experience organizing documents/file management
  • Experience with completing customer surveys.
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Administrative / document control experience

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years)

  • Knowledge of Food Quality Control Industry
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple challenging projects as a cross-functional team member or Project Leader
  • Working knowledge of food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • A commitment to provide the highest quality product to strict customer specifications
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, initiative, and resourcefulness

Responsibilities

  • Controlling company and project documentation
  • Following and improving document control procedures and policies
  • Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control of internal documents
  • Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals
  • Producing document progress reports for senior managers
  • Conducting regular reviews and document audits
  • Using computers to organize and distribute documents
  • Helping in the planning stages of a specific project
  • Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,645.00 - $55,456.00 per year
