WHEAT is inviting applications for a Full Time Retail Sales Associate, to provide excellent customer service for our two luxury stores inside the The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, in Maui, HI. Candidates who work well in a team environment, with strong communication skills, and exceptional people skills will stand out. A familiarity with the brands we carry such as Free City, Citizens of Humanity, Lem Lem, Frank & Eileen, and 9 Seed to name a few, will be advantageous. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will be key to your long-term success in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s overall success by maximizing sales opportunities, and helping to maintain an especially organized back-stock as well as additional product rooms. Previous clothing retail experience is preferred, and individuals must have experience in operating a cash register POS system, basic inventory and restocking tasks, as well as light cleaning duties. We also sell our own line of luxury loungewear, candles and fragrance; The Wheat Collection; which means there is also opportunity to grow within the company in many different roles!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Including but not limited to:

• Greet customers and make them feel welcomed
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features and pricing)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/items
• Ensure racks are fully stocked and always spaced and organized on appropriately
• Manage exchanges of merchandise if it should arise
• Be an independent, self-motivated individual who doesn't mind stretches of working solo in a beautiful 5 star luxury hotel atmosphere
• Provide detailed daily recap feedback to your management team in end of shift emails along with store photos and videos as requested
• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process (greeting, assisting, and checking out guests in store)
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Track daily sales and count high dollar inventory on hand
• Excellent communication skills, and capable of building relationships
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed
• BA in Fashion, Merchandizing, or related field not required, but is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
