Graphic Designer for Sign Company

Heritage Printing, Sign & Displays is seeking a graphic designer with vast experience with Environmental and Experiential Graphic Design. They must be have a strong sense of urgency and is passionate about collaborating with our project managers and clients to enhance client workspace, storefronts and event venues by creating an impactful environmental brand experiences.

This position will focus on gaining a solid understanding of a client’s brand initiatives and successfully translating this to their commercial space by designing custom signs, vinyl graphics, wayfinding signage, custom displays and other sign and graphic solutions that our company will produce and install.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our project managers, fabrication team, and clients to effectively design and present signs and graphics solutions for commercial interior environments
• Design compelling and creative brand experiences across diverse spaces, including but not limited to office, retail, hospitality, multi-family, faith-based, education, municipal, industrial, healthcare, and large sports and entertainment event venues.
• Integrate brand experiences within both existing spaces, relocation and new construction
• Generate and present design concepts for a campus’ identity for branded environments in physical spaces, graphic design systems, signage and wayfinding
• Perform site visits and site surveys alongside Project Managers to observe and identify space and opportunities to collaborate with clients
• Public speaking for professional in-person team and client presentations

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design. Associate degree minimum, bachelor’s preferred
• 7+ years experience as a designer with experience in facility branding, built environment design, exhibit design and/or experiential graphic design.
• Signage and wayfinding design experience
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to internal teams and clients
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong ability and desire to design for commercial interior graphics, event signage, and retail point of purchase applications
