The SoundSide Group has been a rapidly growing full-service IT solutions integrator in Eastern North Carolina since 2000, and currently has an opening for an experienced and motivated Network Systems Implementer. At least 3 years’ experience working with networks, servers, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and network security. Must be able to manage projects and work independently or as part of a team. Ability to quickly absorb new technology and apply to any given project. Other positives: knowledge of SANs, VOIP, or Telephony. BS degree in technology or MSCE and Cisco certifications a plus.

Daily duties involve working with customers and peers to select equipment, resolve technical problems, implement projects and document the networking environments.

Required / Desired Skills:

• Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMWare, Hyper-V Windows based networks and virtual environments.

• Experience installing and maintaining MS Office 365 products and Exchange email accounts.

• Experience administering Windows based networks, as well as switch and router protocols.

• Experience maintaining and supporting PBX/VoIP phone systems would be a plus (Cisco, Sangoma, Broadview, ETC.).

Position work hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday and is open until filled.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
