Job Description :

The Marketing Specialist requires min 2 years of experience in B2B marketing, product launch, managing project, managing marketing-related events, merchandising, etc.

SUMMARY

A marketing staff position responsible for managing and coordinating the development, production, and maintenance of sales and marketing literature to support activities at the trade and consumer levels, such as technical brochures and specification sheets, bulletins, consumer literature, operating instructions, manuals, sales information, and other materials in digital and/or printed formats as directed and guided by strategic objectives, annual goals, department standards, guidelines, policies, industry best practices, and project priorities. Taking the lead in coordinating trade shows and other customer-focused events is also part of the responsibility of this role. This position requires frequent interface with print and digital suppliers, good interpersonal skills, and dedication to precision through consistent process management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of the publications project plan to achieve strategic objectives and support marketing commercialization plans
  • Development and implement technically accurate division publications that support brand messaging, including operating instructions, manuals, technical specification sheets, bulletins, consumer literature, sales information, and other materials in digital and/or printed formats
  • Work with internal and external customers on marketing publication needs – wholesale and retail customers
  • Implement and maintain an online literature ordering system
  • Review daily activity of print suppliers to ensure effective project management, timely project completion, quality, and efficient use of resources to achieve planned objectives within budget
  • Provide support and coordination of development and implementation for print-based marketing communications initiatives
  • Monitor printed literature usage trends and inventory levels weekly and report to management as directed. Request quotations and approve printing and design invoices for payment
  • Pursue ways to improve the overall quality of publications and production efficiencies through regular reviews of internal and supplier technologies and processes that impact development cost, timely completion, and distribution of materials
  • Review, assess, and report on the effectiveness of competitor literature as well as those of other leading companies, agencies, and firms in technologically advanced industries
  • Provide electronic files to web associates and regularly monitor the uploads for accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Take the lead in coordinating trade shows and customer workshops and events
  • Taking the lead in coordinating other marketing related activities for the company
  • Additional responsibilities with the Product Marketing team as directed, including social media support and digital marketing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years of verifiable marketing and/or business experience with a demonstrated history of variable project experiences

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, design or related field
