Stratford Group is looking for a maintenance person or team to manage a small community in Newaygo, MI. This position will require interaction with residents, vendors and future residents with a professional demeanor and appearance. Person or team will be responsible for day to day operations of the community, as well as the face of the community for future residents.
As part of your compensation, a free 2-bedroom managers unit with utilities included - plus an hourly wage. Weekly hours for this community are about 18 hours per week.
We are looking for the following abilities and skills.
Ability to communicate with a diverse population
Professional Demeanor
Must be comfortable with paperwork
Should have the ability to quickly assess situation and re-act appropriately
Be familiar with Fair Housing and Civil Rights or willing to learn
Skills
Grounds maintenance
Cleaning of common areas and vacant apartment
Basic plumbing and electrical skills
Day to day maintenance of units and common areas
Unit turn skills – painting, maintenance, and cleaning
HVAC/Boiler experience a plus
Knowledge of lawn mower and snow blower maintenance is a plus
Other duties as assigned.
