Omega Accounting Solutions is in hyper growth mode and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Consultant) to join our team to collaborate with our clients' controllers and accountants to manage the progress of their business accounting maintenance and month-end close plans for accuracy and efficiency. This position is fully on-site.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Manage and maintain the general ledger- Interface with business owners to convey the measurable health of their business.
• Responsible for completion of monthly and quarterly tasks and compliance items.
• Review weekly/monthly/quarterly financial data to gain insight and help for business owners.
• Meet with business owners on Business reporting and help work through decision making.
• Adhere to a month-end and/or quarter-end reporting schedule in compliance with company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial review/analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related major
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements
• Experience with a CPA firm is strongly preferred
• Proficient with accounting software (Intuit Products a plus) and other MS Office software
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Product strongly preferred
• Strong background and knowledge in Excel (especially for analysis)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
