Position Summary

VyncaCare is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with people who are incredibly passionate about transforming serious illness care through various service and technology offerings. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Sr Full Stack Web Developer will be responsible for implementing a Progressive Web Application and existing Clinical Care solutions, enabling our clinical teams to be more efficient and deliver high-quality care at scale.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Build performant, scalable, and secure web and progressive web applications.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction on systems and web application architecture and system design.
• Focus on user-centered design.
• Spearheaded design, technical, and code reviews.
• Implement using well-known design patterns and coding standards.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to mitigate risk and resolve dependencies.
• Successfully designed and developed externally facing web applications utilizing modern single-page application frameworks.
• Posses understanding of web application development such as:
  • progressive web apps
  • server-side technologies and databases.
  • web workers
  • browser repaints and reflows, performance and memory optimizations
  • debugging memory leaks, caching, and flame graphs.
• Understanding of database modeling and SQL. Capable of performance tuning and refactoring from one data store to another.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack web software development experience
• 5+ years designing database schemas, writing SQL.
• 3+ years of experience designing applications using unstructured and semi-structured data
• 3+ years using cloud services from AWS, Azure or GCP.
• 1+ year DevOps experience with infrastructure as code.
• Experience in developing web and mobile applications, including progressive web apps and cross-platform hybrid mobile apps
• High level skill with JavaScript, ReactJS, or Typescript, REST web services, HTML5, and CSS/SASS
• Experience with React Native is a plus
• Experience and knowledge of authentication and authorization workflows using concepts like JWT.
• Use and understand Git based source control systems.
• Deep knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery and toolsets that provide this ability. E.g. GitLab, GitHub, TravisCI, or something similar.
• Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Confluence
• Have proficiency in Quality engineering and experience working with Quality leads to define processes and technologies.
• Experience with Agile approach to software development.

Education, Experience, And Credentialing

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in full-stack web application development
