Tarter Farm & Ranch Equipment has an immediate opening in our Dunnville, Ky location for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, bilingual preferred. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources group in a timely manner consistent with corporate policy and legal guidelines. Support including but not limited to the following: interpretation for our Spanish speaking employees, screening and interviewing applicants, administering employee benefit programs and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Including the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific Tarter site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):

1. Greet incoming employees, applicants, vendors, and customers and assist with their needs.

2. Assist with all communication needs for our Hispanic employee base, that may include but not limited to the following: documentation preparation, translation, on-boarding assistance, setting up clinic visits, and benefit training.

3. Maintain and coordinate conference room schedule requests.

4. Check and distribute incoming mail.

5. Filing documents as needed.

6. Answering and directing telephone calls.

7. Assist with employee communication and relations activities as required.

8. Serve as an executive administrative to senior Human Resource team.

9. Assist Human Resources Leadership team with employee relation issues as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Effective interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Fluent (English/Spanish) communication skills required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Human Resources experience a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task a must.
• Experience: 1-3 years prior related experience preferred.
• Proficient typing skills required.
• Friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information is required.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and follows all regulations and requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working in a fast-paced office environment with exposure to manufacturing areas.

Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to work 40 hours per week. Able to lift up to 40 lbs independently.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
